About
My name is Keith Jeffries and I am a retired Anglican Prist now living in Spain. In the past I have visited Palestine on five different occasions during which I made some very good friends all of whom were Christian and Muslim Palestinians. I went there initially on pilgrimage to the Holy places but I was fortunate to have Muslim Palestinians guides who introduced me to what the present situatiion is in the country. This became a blessing as I have now good friends in different parts of the country. Recently I have been in touch with of my friends there and am very concerned for their welfare. Palestinian Christians and Muslims suffer together. Once when in Bethlelem during the second Intifada I witnessed the funeral of a Christian martyr. It was a privilege to see a brother on his way to heaven having sacrificed his life for his homeland.
I firmly believe that Khamas is not a terrorist organisation but a resistance movement under International law fighting against oppressiion. I pray for my brothers and sisters in Palestine and Inshallah they will triumph.
In retirement I am a poet and writer. Recently I have been in touch with Mosab Abu Toha a fellow poet who is now in Cairo with his family having fled Gaza. I also lament the murder of another Palestinian poet Rafeet Alereer.
Brother Mahmoud, thank you for your regular broadcasts on the situation as it develoops. You are a source of truth and I thank you for this. I hope in the future to join a chat group and meet some of our other brothers and sisters. Long live Free PALESTINE.
